My Mission
My mission is to help families relax, restore, and rejuvenate by nurturing the brain, body, and spirit, while also empowering parents to teach their children to read. Drawing from my background as a registered nurse since 1975 and health missionary in Guatemala for a period of time, I have always understood the importance of holistic health. Through teaching basic health, hygiene, and nutrition, I witnessed the power of knowledge in empowering individuals and families to become self-reliant. Additionally, I discovered a deep passion for teaching reading to the illiterate, sparking a lifelong dedication to sharing the joy of comprehending the written word. Today, I continue to build upon these foundations, assisting families in thriving by taking care of their overall well-being & equipping parents with the tools & techniques to teach their children to read with confidence.

Specializing in 2 types of Massage: Swedish & Raindrop

Swedish massage is a classic therapeutic massage technique that focuses on relaxation and promoting overall well-being. During a Swedish massage, gentle to firm pressure is applied to the muscles, using long, gliding strokes, kneading, and circular movements to alleviate tension, improve circulation, and induce a state of deep relaxation. This type of massage is perfect for reducing stress, relieving muscle tension, and promoting a sense of tranquility and rejuvenation. 

To assist in relaxing the mind and body, I typically use Lavender essential oil on the back and Peace & Calming essential oil on the shoulders along with the massage oil called Relaxation. I exclusively use top-quality Young Living products, carefully selected for their profound natural benefits.

Raindrop Technique is a unique massage therapy that combines the benefits of aromatherapy with gentle massage techniques to promote physical, mental, and emotional balance. This technique involves the application of nine essential oils along the spine and feet, using a sequence of feather-light strokes, tapping, and rolling movements.

AFT (Aromatherapy) Session
Aroma Freedom Technique Practitioner
 
The Aroma Freedom Technique (AFT) method was designed by Clinical Psychologist, Benjamin Perkus, PhD, in private practice since 1996. AFT combines inhaling specific essential oils with proven psychological principles in a step-by-step process to quickly identify and gently dissolve and release negative thoughts, feelings, and memories. It has been shown to be at least as effective as EMDR and EFT.

Smelling essential oils calms the amygdala, the fight-or-flight decision-maker in the limbic system which is in charge of emotions. By calming the amygdala, the hippocampus, the memory “filing cabinet” of the brain, then knows it is safe to reprocess outdated memories and create new neural pathways. AFT is a fast, gentle, and effective way to become free of these negative events permanently and without side effects. Emotional freedom comes from releasing old unwanted patterns of thought and behavior.
